Wildfang is more than a clothing brand. They have a large following on social media thanks to their strong voice and strong stance on important issues. The goal of the blog was not to sell, but to win people over, to make them fall in love with the brand. We wanted customers to love the product, but more importantly, to love them. I wrote blogs that blended humor, politics, feminism, and a little bit of fashion for good measure.

I worked with the client, and our design team to create a clear, conversational explanation of how data onboarding helps marketers understand the customer journey.

Women's suiting is the foundation on which Wildfang was built, but a lot of their customers are still unsure of how and when to wear a suit. We needed to change the way people thought about suits and show them that they’re not just job interviews. For Holiday 2018, we pushed some glam new brocade and velvet suiting as a fabulous alternative to sequins and dresses for festive New Year’s Eve celebrations.

Brand USA Campaign
Brand USA was one of social media agency Sparkloft Media’s oldest clients, and they wanted to try a new approach to marketing travel to the United States. I was part of a team that developed and executed a compelling new social campaign for Twitter and Instagram inspired by a summer road trip across the US.
When my coworker Doug’s bike got stolen from the parking garage at work his face looked so sad I had no choice but to start a GoFundMe. We reached the $500 goal and Doug got a new bike and some donuts.
Nike Product Copy
The “snarling rose” is a symbol that’s become a mainstay of the Wildfang brand. This targeted email helped launch a new collection of products including a button up, graphic tee, tank, and hat. We brought the rose to life with some fake flowers, vampire teeth and a lot of attitude. I poked fun at old sayings about flowers that evoke “traditional” ideas of femininity and gave them some teeth.
